Paris Saint-Germain began their Ligue 1 defence with an emphatic 4-1 win over Le Havre.

Scorers: Lloris 48′; Lee 3′, Dembélé 85′, Barcola 86′, Muani (PEN) 90′

Lee Kang-in opened the scoring for the reigning champions after just three minutes with a sublime finish from inside the penalty area.

But the host drew level after half-time when Gautier Lloris stabbed the ball home after Christopher Operi teed him up from a free kick.

They appeared to have taken the lead soon after through Josué Casimir’s solo breakaway before it was disallowed by VAR for a handball in the build-up.

Luis Enrique made a triple change with Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola and Marquinhos all coming on as the visitors pushed for a winner in the closing stages.

That bold move reaped a reward in the final five minutes as Dembélé headed home new signing João Neves’s left-sided cross to edge Les Parisiens ahead.

Barely a minute later, another substitute had extended their advantage courtesy of Barcola’s surging run and deft finish in the box after he was released by Neves.

Randal Kolo Muani rounded off a comfortable score line from the penalty spot after he had been held back when attempting to meet a Barcola delivery.
