10 Prime Day fitness deals we’re sweating: Bowflex, Brooks and more

Every Sunday, I tell myself that this is the week I’m going to stick to my exercise routine. Some weeks I succeed, others … well, there’s room for improvement. But when I do prioritize working out — even if it’s just getting more steps in — I feel great, mentally and physically. The thing is, you don’t need any equipment to walk, run or do push-ups, but if those types of workouts bore you or you want to amp things up, check out our picks for the best Prime Day deals on fitness gear.

Right now, during Amazon Prime Day (July 16-17), you can save on tons of exercise equipment to help you strength train, increase your cardio and stretch your muscles. You can get resistance bands for just over $1 apiece when you buy a pack of five, or an easy-to-use rowing machine for $90 and save on more, up to 70% off. Some of these deals are good enough to get your heart pumping! I shop for a living, and these deep discounts have me ready to run a marathon (or maybe a 5K, let’s not get crazy).

So whether you exercise on the reg or need some help kicking off a fresh routine, you’ll want to take advantage of these fitness deals.

Strength training has myriad benefits, both mental and physical. As you get stronger, you may want to add some form of resistance to increase the intensity of your workout, giving your muscles a new challenge. One easy way to do that is by using resistance bands. These bands have over 89,000 five-star reviews on Amazon, and people love them for their durability and versatility.

You can use loop bands for yoga, Pilates, physical therapy and more. Wear them around your quads to increase the intensity of your squats and glute bridges, or wear them around your wrists as you pull your arms away from each other to build arm strength. You can even take them with you when you travel.

I own these and often pop them in my suitcase. However, I paid the full $21 for them a few years ago — the fact that they’re on sale for $6 just doesn’t seem fair.

If you like to walk outside, you can kick up the intensity with these stylish and comfortable 1-pound weights. Wear them on your wrists or ankles while you clean your house or walk your dog — they’ll help you get stronger without much extra effort. They strap on using Velcro and come in a range of colors.

For Prime Day, grab a set for 20% off, taking them down to just $40. If you compare them to the brand name Bala Bangles, these are $20 cheaper but they look quite similar.

This simple, yet sturdy rowing machine works your whole body — it’s like the Swiss army knife of exercise equipment, and probably costs less than your favorite running shoes. This top-selling rowing machine has 12 levels of smooth resistance, and it’s super quiet, thanks to a hydraulic resistance system. That means if you like an early morning workout, you can hop on this rower without waking up the rest of your household. You can use it for low or high-impact exercises, and you’ll be glad to know that it’s easier on the joints than say, running.

While investing in equipment you can use at home saves you from paying for an expensive gym membership, this rower is also on sale for just $90 — cheaper than some gym’s monthly fees!

This top-selling sports bra is loved by more than 40,000 five-star Amazon shoppers, including those with larger busts. Why? The straps don’t dig into your shoulders, it offers just the right amount of compression and it’s actually stylish.

One Yahoo editor tried it and said, “The Lemedy Sports Bra not only holds you in and supports you like a hug, but it also makes the girls look good too. It’s lightly padded, so even if you’re not packing too much, it’ll give you a bit of a lift (and you can remove the pads if you like). It’s soft and breathable.”

More than 25,000 Amazon shoppers rave about these shoes, and podiatrists approve of them too. While they’re slip-ons, they have a solid rubber sole with an air cushion, plus a perforated arch that allows for ventilation and breathability while lending plenty of support.

“Stability, or support, is probably the most important quality of a sneaker or any other shoe that someone will wear if they are to be on their feet for more than a few minutes at a time,” Richard H. Graves, a podiatrist with Sol Foot & Ankle Centers in Longwood, Calif., told Yahoo. And these sneakers have support in spades.

Grab a pair for hitting your daily step goal while they’re on sale during Prime Day — a cool 15% off. This matches their lowest price on record, and for less than $30, you can’t beat it.

This popular yoga mat at Amazon is extra thick — with 1/4-inch of high-density foam — so whether you’re doing planks on your forearms, stretching or doing actual yoga, it’ll feel very comfortable. That’s probably why it has over 32,000 five-star reviews. It comes in a range of colors and with a strap so you can hang it up or tote it to a class.

It regularly retails for $50, but during Prime Day it’s a whopping 70% off — just $15! That’s the lowest we’ve seen it in months.

Looking for ways to move while you work? This mini pedal exerciser will fit under your desk so you can work out while you check emails, call clients or even read about the best Amazon Prime Day exercise equipment deals.

While it’s not the most advanced or hardest piece of exercise equipment you’ll ever try, it does the trick. The pedal has eight levels of resistance and there’s an LCD monitor that displays time, stride and calories burned. Simply sit down, put your feet onto the anti-slip pedals and go.

According to our research, this is the lowest in price the Cubii JR1 Under Desk Elliptical has dropped since last year’s Amazon Prime Day.

When it comes to comfy sneakers, Brooks Ghost 15 are my personal favorite. True story: I ran my first (and only) marathon in the Brooks Ghost. Moreover, Yahoo’s named them the “most comfortable running shoes for long distances” and the “best overall shoes for nurses.” Plus the shoes were awarded the APMA Seal of Acceptance. These sneakers boast ultralightweight cushioning, a breathable upper and a system of shock absorbers to prevent foot pain. So whether you’re jogging or picking up speed, you’ll feel comfortable and supported.

They’re typically pretty expensive at $110, but for Prime Day, prices start at just $80 for certain colors. It’s hard to find any quality running shoes for less than 100 bucks, so this really is big news.

Turn your workout up (or down) with this adjustable Bowflex dumbbell set. Each one can go from 5 pounds to 52.5 pounds (in increments), so you don’t need a roomful of little weights — just this set.

While it’s a little pricey, a full set of dumbbells matching each weight increment this set offers would cost you roughly the same amount, if not more. Grab it while it’s over $100 off and at the lowest price it’s been all year.

The Sperax Walking pad is Amazon’s No. 1 bestselling compact treadmill. It’s only 4.6 inches high and 48 inches long, so you can slide it under your sofa or bed when you’re not using it. It’s also only 40 pounds, which is light enough that you can probably pull it out on your own but just heavy enough to make you sweat a little while doing so.

Keep in mind, this is really meant for walking, not jogging or running. It only goes up to about 3.8 mph, and it doesn’t have handlebars to hold on to. You choose the speed with the included remote control, while an LED display on the top of the tread shows your speed, distance, time and even calories burned in real time. Also great: It has an anti-slip belt and a strong damping system, so you won’t make too much noise.

Note: The listed retail price seems to be a bit inflated here. According to our records, this treadmill regularly retails for around $300 (not $2,000!). Still, with the on-page coupon, that brings the walking pad to nearly half off.
