The 1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer DLS “Mame Commission” stands as a masterpiece of automotive engineering and design. This extraordinary machine is one of only 75 Dynamics and Lightweight Study (DLS) commissions ever crafted by Singer Vehicle Design in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering. With just 182 miles on the odometer and in virtually new condition, it offers a rare opportunity for collectors to acquire one of the most exclusive Porsche reimaginings ever conceived.

At the heart of the DLS lies a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, developed by Williams Advanced Engineering with guidance from Porsche legends Hans Mezger and Norbert Singer. Producing 500 horsepower and revving up to an incredible 9,000 rpm, the engine incorporates cutting-edge features such as titanium connecting rods, dual oil circuits, and carbon fiber intake trumpets. A magnesium Hewland six-speed transmission channels the power to the rear wheels with precision.

Lightweight materials such as carbon fiber, magnesium, and titanium enable the DLS to achieve a curb weight of just 990 kilograms. Advanced aerodynamics, including a redesigned underbody refined by computational fluid dynamics (CFD), ensure modern performance while preserving the iconic 911 silhouette.

This particular commission, known as the “Mame Commission,” is finished in a custom Fluid Silver hue, a $42,550 option, and is protected by full paint protection film (PPF). The exterior features bead-blasted Black Titanium trim and Black-tinted satin visible carbon accents, enhancing its contemporary elegance.

The interior is a showcase of Singer’s meticulous craftsmanship, blending Olive Green suede with Black-tinted satin carbon fiber and bead-blasted bright trim. Highlights include a carbon fiber X-brace, maple wood shift knob, Black tachometer face, and MOMO carbon fiber steering wheel. Modern conveniences such as air conditioning and a heated front screen are seamlessly integrated.

Chassis number WP0ZZZ96ZMS400118 began life as a 1991 911 Carrera 2 Coupe before undergoing its transformative reimagining. Completed in 2023, this DLS was subject to a “Year 1 Service” in August 2024, ensuring its readiness for the next owner.

As one of only 75 examples worldwide, the “Mame Commission” is a testament to Singer’s philosophy, “Everything is Important.” This car embodies the pinnacle of craftsmanship, engineering, and exclusivity, making it a must-have for discerning Porsche collectors.
