2024-25 QMJHL Power Rankings: Regular Season (Week Five)
Now a month into the QMJHL regular season, the league is beginning to solidify itself.
Drummondville and Moncton stay at the top of the league.
On the other end, the Olympiques rest at the bottom of the league, as the first team to reach double-digit losses — with Victoriaville not far ahead of them.

Biggest Risers
-
Cape Breton (▲3): Cape Breton keeps up their hot streak as they continue to soar; winning their last five games.
-
Acadie-Bathurst (▲3): The Titan have continued to be the surprise of the season, as they remain tied for the most wins in the league with Drummondville.
-
Rouyn-Noranda (▲3): Thanks to big performances from 2025 NHL Draft eligible Bill Zonnon, the Huskies recoup lost ground and some more with two wins. They are tied for the least amount of regulation losses.
Biggest Fallers
-
Shawinigan (▼4): The Cataractes have struggled more than anticipated to start the year. Gridin is still in need of adjusting and they’ve added OHL champion goalie Liam Sztuska to try and get the team on track.
-
Saint John (▼4): The Sea Dogs take two inopportune losses, resulting in them getting leapfrogged by hotter teams.
-
Chicoutimi (▼3): Much like Shawinigan, more was anticipated from the Sags, who’ve only been slightly above average. Perhaps growing pains from having such a youthful core? I’m sure Masse’s injury doesn’t help either.
