Inside look as Scotland’s first Uniqlo opens doors in Edinburgh tomorrow

Edinburgh is officially set to be home to Scotland’s first and only Uniqlo store – and we have a sneak peak of what to expect.

The popular Japanese apparel brand, famed for its viral cross body bags, announced earlier this month it was opening the doors to its Princes Street store on Thursday, April 25.




Housed in an iconic, modern building within the busy shopping street, the store will be set across two floors and will cover a spacious 1,400 square metres.


Alongside its clothing collections, the Princes Street store will feature customer-led experiences and will be home to an in-store Japanese tearoom on the first floor that will overlook the Princes Street Gardens.

Shoppers will also find the RE.UNIQLO Studio where customers can recycle, repair or remake their favourite Uniqlo items. The brand has also partnered with Irn-Bru for themed embroidery pieces that are exclusive to the Scots store until the end of May 2024.
