Chinese New Year horoscopes as some set for turbulent 2023 ahead

Celebrations for Chinese New Year will begin at the end of this week, bringing in the Year of the Rabbit.

While everyone will celebrate the holiday in their own way, some may start off the new lunar year by looking at their horoscopes. The Rabbit is said to be lucky for many this year.

However, that can’t be said for everyone as some might have a turbulent 2023 ahead, according to an astrology expert.

Speaking to the Express, celebrity astrology expert Marites Allen shared what each sign can expect for 2023. You could be in for a bumpy ride if you were born in the following years:

1928, 1934, 1937,1940, 1941, 1946, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1958, 1961, 1964, 1965, 1970, 1973, 1977, 1982, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2018 or 2021.

Here is what people born in these years can expect, as well as how to bring about some better luck over the next 12 months:

Ox

Born in: 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021

“Your luck in money and career continues this year. Professionally, you are always trustworthy and can be relied on. However, this year, threats of robbery, losses or possible injuries will be bothering the Ox-born people. Nonetheless, with your innate confidence, strength, and stability, you will always prosper even during difficult times.

“Just avoid being stubborn, resentful and temperamental, all of which will result in your downfall and destruction.”

Dragon

Born in: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012

Snake

“The presence of the hostility star in 2023 will rock the peaceful life of Snake-born people. Usually, the Snakes just glide through life and somehow manage to get through the challenges that come their way.

Dog
