PGA Championship live updates: When Xander Schauffele tees off plus latest odds, forecast
Round 2 of the PGA Championship began with off-course drama as world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler was arrested following a traffic incident outside Valhalla Golf Club. He was later released and returned to the course at a rescheduled tee time.
Xander Schauffele‘s record-tying Round 1 score of 9-under-62 gave him a sizable lead into Round 2. He’d finish the day with a 3-under-68 to stay in sole possession of first place at 12-under.
His lead shrunk throughout the day, though, as Collin Morikawa tied for the best score on Friday to move into second place at 11-under. Sahith Theegala finished out Friday in third at 10-under.
Golf icon Tiger Woods struggled in Round 2 and ultimately missed the cut after shooting a 6-over-77 on Friday. After Round 2 was cut short due to darkness, 18 golfers still have to finish their round.
Here’s the latest on Saturday’s Round 3 action:
PGA Championship Round 3 start time
Round 2 action, which was suspended at 8:41 p.m. ET on Friday due to darkness, was delayed Saturday morning due to heavy fog and did not resume until 9:40 a.m. ET. The start time for Round 3 has not been announced.
What time does Xander Schauffele tee off at the PGA?
