Novo Nordisk site in Denmark hit by fire

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – A Novo Nordisk site in Bagsvaerd, Denmark, was hit by fire on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the drugmaker said, while adding that the fire brigade was in the process of extinguishing the blaze.

A Copenhagen fire department spokesperson told Reuters they were on the site trying to extinguish a powerful fire and were working to prevent it from spreading.

A Novo Nordisk construction site in the Danish city of Kalundborg was hit by a fire last week, although the company said at the time it did not believe this would delay plans to boost production.
