Girl, 9, rushed to hospital after being hit by car on Scots road
A young girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services raced to Burghmuir Drive in Inverurie after the alarm was raised at around 3.50pm on Saturday.
Ambulance crews attended and the nine-year-old was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The condition of the schoolgirl is currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.50pm on Saturday, May 25, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Burghmuir Drive, Inverurie.
“The pedestrian, a nine-year-old girl, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.”
