The artisan deli that’s won a slew of awards and has one of Scotland’s best gins

Food and drink fans looking for somewhere fun to go at the weekend will find what they are looking for in a small independent deli just 20 minutes out from the city centre.

Home to not only a successful and thriving family-run delicatessen and coffee shop, Billington’s, which can be found in the picturesque town of Lenzie, is also the producer of one of Scotland’s best gins.

Founded in 2012, Billington’s is run by Mark and Sue Billington and their team and offers a wide range of speciality drinks, wines, beers and spirits, as well as artisan food items and hampers, coupled with a mouth-watering array of deli food.

Food fans can enjoy perusing in the deli before enjoying breakfast, brunch or lunch in the coffee shop with the team even offering an afternoon tea for two for just £12 per person.
