Aberdeen youngster Jack Milne called up to Scotland Under-21s squad
Aberdeen defender Jack Milne has been called up to the Scotland Under-21s squad for their upcoming clashes against Turkey and Austria.
He joins Reds midfielder Connor Barron in camp for the friendlies after replacing former Hibs defender Josh Doig who drops out entirely.
Milne has enjoyed a season of highs despite some tough results for Aberdeen, most recently featuring for over an hour in the 1-0 win over Motherwell in the league in March.

The 21-year-old also picked up some precious minutes in the Scottish Cup semi-final thriller against Celtic under Peter Leven, scoring a penalty in the shootout before the Dons went on to lose out on a place in the final.
Earlier in the campaign while Barry Robson was in charge, Milne was handed a European debut in the Europa Conference League against HJK Helsinki in blizzard-like conditions.
He then added to his first European outing with 71 minutes against Eintracht Frankfurt when the Dons beat the 2022 Europa League winners 2-0.

And his form has caught the attention of Scotland Under-21s boss Scott Gemmill, who named his squad for the friendlies with Turkey and Austria on Wednesday.
Ben Doak, a regular with the Under-21s, is absent after being called up to be a part of Steve Clarke’s 28-man provisional squad for Euro 2024.
Motherwell’s Lennon Miller and Kilmarnock’s David Watson, who have both impressed in the Premiership this season, are called up for the first time.
