Scotland to decide on Rory Darge’s fitness ahead of Wales clash
Scotland will make a decision today on whether Rory Darge will be fit to feature in Saturday’s Six Nations opener against Wales at the Principality Stadium.
The flanker, newly appointed as one of the side’s co-captains alongside Finn Russell, has not played since picking up a knee strain as Glasgow lost to Edinburgh on December 30.
Darge’s recovery has progressed more quickly than expected and the 23-year-old will be given the final day of a training camp near Alicante on Wednesday to prove beyond doubt that he is ready to be thrown into the Cardiff cauldron.
