Tender: Fair Work Strategy and Delivery Plan

Creative Scotland is seeking to develop a Fair Work Strategy which will set out our aims and objectives for Fair Work for Creative Scotland, along with a logic model and delivery plan.

Fair Work First is a Scottish Government policy which seeks to promote Fair Work practices across private, third sector and public sector organisations in Scotland. The Scottish Government set up the Fair Work Convention and published Fair Work Guidance for organisations and a Fair Work Action Plan. The Scottish Government’s Culture Strategy for Scotland included an action for a review of Fair Work and workforce development in the sector. Fair Work continues to be a priority for the Scottish Government, and they are seeking to expand those businesses and organisations who are committed to delivering it.

Fair Work is one of four Strategic Priorities for Creative Scotland alongside Environmental Sustainability, Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusion and International. Recent Creative Scotland work has focussed on knowledge building in the sector.

Building on the Review of Fair Work, undertaken by Culture Radar, Creative Scotland are now seeking to develop a Fair Work Strategy to guide future work and identify how we can best support the sector to align with the principles of Fair Work.

We are seeking to commission this piece of work to be undertaken in the first half of 2024. This should include a clear set of outcomes, a logic model and a delivery and resourcing plan.

Budget

We expect the budget for this project to be between £25,000 to £30,000 including VAT. Tenderers registered for VAT should indicate this in their proposal.
