Man Utd star spotted in Glasgow restaurant as he enjoys Scottish date with Wag
SCOTLAND’S stars are back in the country and getting prepared for their final pre-Euro 2024 test.
And one English-based footie hero has been making the most of a trip north by checking out a popular Glasgow restaurant.
Scotland laboured to a 2-0 win over Gibraltar on Monday evening in Portugal.
While it proved a bit of a slog, it was a result that brought an end to a seven-game winless run for Steve Clarke‘s men.
Next up, it’s a clash with Finland at Hampden on Friday night to send the team off to Germany.
Boss Clarke will also name his final 26-man squad by the close of play that same night.
Having returned to Scottish soil earlier in the week, some of the Euro heroes have been enjoying Glasgow’s food scene.
Two English-based stars, Che Adams and Liam Cooper, were spotted enjoying Serendipity West on Great Western Road.
And Manchester United star Scott McTominay has been checking out one of the city’s popular Italian restaurants.
Joined by stunning girlfriend Cam, McTominay enjoyed a meal in Banca di Roma, a restaurant at the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.
The venue is situated in an imposing Royal Exchange Square building that was for almost two centuries the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Glasgow HQ.
The restaurant’s head chef Giuseppe Cafaro had his picture taken with the 27-year old Old Trafford ace.
And the restaurant shared it to social media.
They said: “Scott McTominay, the Manchester United and Scotland star, in Banca di Roma!
“Here he is with our head chef Giuseppe.
“Wishing him all the best at Euro 2024!”
McTominay’s girlfriend Cam had also posted an Instagram story from within the restaurant.
McTominay wasn’t involved in Monday’s win over Gibraltar.

He’d been substituted during United’s FA Cup Final victory over rivals City nine days before with an injury.
But he’s expected to be available to face Finland tomorrow, along with Stuart Armstrong and John Souttar who were also absent on Monday.
