Five things to see in Scotland this week — from Eddie Izzard to Aladdin
What would you do if you got your hands on a magic lamp and were granted three wishes? Magic away the interval loo queues? Silence the chatterboxes? This spectacular musical has been a hit on Broadway and the West End — and been seen by more than 14 million people worldwide — and has now flown its way into Scotland’s capital.
With music by Tim Rice, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman and songs such as One Jump Ahead and Friend Like Me, it’s a colourful spectacle that’s probably best for anyone over the age of six.
