The clock is ticking down on he eagerly anticipated opening Euro 2024 game against hosts Germany
by Blair Meikle
The Tartan Army have been partying in Munich and it’s still over 24 hours until the big Euro 2024 kick-off.
And while there has been a vibrant atmosphere in the city, Steve Clarke will have been pleased to have his troops in the quiet surroundings of their Garmisch-Partenkirchen base. The squad have been training there all week after arriving to a warm reception from locals on Monday and while media and locals have been able to mull around, it’s a far cry from the hubbub of the capital, where Scotland will take on the hosts tomorrow night.

He’s had his injury concerns leading into the tournament but the whole group trained this morning. As excitement builds, here are some other observations Football Scotland has made from today’s session.
