Ex-Scotland & Celtic star spotted getting Lorraine Kelly in a headlock in Munch

RAB DOUGLAS has been spotted in Munich with Scottish television host Lorraine Kelly.

The former Scotland and Celtic keeper hung up the gloves in 2023, but has remained committed to his national team.

This summer, he has travelled alongside thousands of Tartan Army fans to support Steve Clarke‘s men in Munich.

He’s been spotted in some famous company this week, pictured with Good Morning Britain and ITV host Lorraine.

In a somewhat surprising combination, the pair are pictured enjoying some of the pre-match celebrations, with Douglas embracing Kelly in a HEADLOCK.

Douglas shared the photos to his Twitter (X) page with the caption: “When the fat cat meets Lorraine Kelly in The Munchen.

“No Scotland No Party”.

The 52-year-old began his professional career with Livingston in 1992, before joining Dundee for the first time in 1997.

Douglas made over 250 league appearances for the Dens Park club, but it was at Celtic where he would make a name for himself on the international stage.

He joined Celtic in 2000, under then manager Michael O’Neill, and it was in those five years in Glasgow he would have his greatest successes.

Douglas gained 19 caps for Scotland, making over 100 league appearances for Celtic in the process.

He made his international debut at Pittodrie, in a 2-1 friendly defeat against Nigeria.

In 2003, he played alongside Henrik Larsson, Paul Lambert, Neil Lennon, and Chris Sutton, as Celtic fell to Porto in the 2003 Uefa Cup final, in Seville.

Douglas left Celtic in 2005, making the switch to England to join Leicester City.

After a three-year absence from Scottish football, he would return to Dundee in 2008, before retiring in 2023, following spells with Forfar Athletic, and Arbroath.
