Man arrested following suspected armed raid on Scots store

A MAN has been arrested following an alleged armed raid on a Scots store.

Emergency services raced to the Co-op store on Shamrock Street in Dunfermline.

Officers were alerted to the alleged robbery this morning.

Images show three police vehicles parked up the road just outside the store, with several locals outside.

Police confirmed that no-one was reported injured following the alleged incident.

Police Scotland, said: “Around 11.40am we were called to a report of a robbery at a premises on Shamrock Street, Dunfermline.

“Officers attended. There were no reports of injuries.

“A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.” 

It comes after a 40-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl died in a horror crash on a Scots road.

The driver and the passenger were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
