International law firm launches new ESG specialist team in Scotland – Scottish Business News

INTERNATIONAL law firm CMS has launched a new team to support Scottish-based businesses in managing the opportunities and challenges of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

Led by Edinburgh-based colleagues partner Gordon Hay and senior associate Dr Amanda Cooke, the new Scotland ESG Team draws on the depth of the firm’s resources and experience across Scotland, the rest of the UK and worldwide.

It is further bolstered by CMS colleagues who bring a broad range of specific sector specialisms from across the firm offering support through awareness raising and advice on key issues within the constantly evolving regulatory landscape.

The Scotland ESG Team incorporates experts from CMS’s Natural Capital Projects team, the only offering of its kind amongst law firms in Scotland, which has developed a formidable track record in supporting clients with natural capital projects.
