Harry’s old Invictus boss joins surfing lake board

1. The company behind Scotland’s first artificial surfing lake has appointed a sports executive to its board.

Victoria Gosling joins Lost Shore as a non-executive director. The business intends to opens its facility, which also includes upmarket accommodation and restaurants, at Ratho on the outskirts of Edinburgh in September.

The surfing area will be able to cater to beginners and professional surfers by creating artificial waves of different heights.

Gosling is chief executive of GB Snowsport, chairwoman of GB Surfing and sits on the board of the British Olympic Association.
