Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our Scottish team, developing Contractor relationships and managing the Sales Pipeline. If this is you or someone you know we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Engineer to join our team, working closely with other areas of our commercial sales team to help grow our Scottish region. You will develop and maintain commercial relationships with all relevant contractors, creating a strong awareness of all ACO Water Management products.

As an ACO Water Management Regional Sales Engineer, you will work as part of a highly driven team selling market leading ACO Water Management branded products to contractors, responding to their enquiries & identifying opportunities to help achieve the team’s individual sales target and the company targets.

About you:

  • Proven working experience in external or internal sales, within the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Construction market knowledge with particular emphasis on the contractors working in the civils sector, and an understanding of all contracting and supply chain activity is highly desirable.
  • Technical understanding of, or technical aptitude to learn about construction projects and installation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusted customer relationships.
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work within a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in, or adept in learning, MS Office applications and CRM software.

You will be home based with occasional meetings and visits to our Head Office in Shefford, Bedfordshire, however, this role requires regular travel throughout Scotland.
