Ryan Jack ‘to miss’ Rangers vs Aberdeen cup final as he fails to recover
Ryan Jack is reportedly set to miss this afternoon’s Rangers vs Aberdeen clash in the Viaplay Cup Final.
The midfielder was hoping to recover from injury in time to make a much-needed comeback at Hampden as a ravaged Ibrox outfit face taking on their opponents light in the midfield. Jack, 31, has not featured for Gers since November against Livingston and manager Philippe Clement has opted to give him the best chance of playing at the national stadium.
But the Rangers Review now report that Jack will NOT make the crunch clash and that his club will have to deal with their threadbare engine room with Jose Cifuentes also out via a suspension.
Meanwhile, there is slightly better news for Gers with the confirmation that Todd Cantwell had returned to training yesterday after missing Thursday night’s Real Betis 3-2 win in Seville through personal issues.
