Scottish footballer grabbed woman’s breasts in Glasgow nightclub sex assaults

A FOOTBALLER has admitted to sex attacks on two women at a nightclub.

Hamilton Academicals player Kyle MacDonald groped his victims at Wunderbar in Glasgow’s Springfield Court last September 5.

Prosecutors stated the 24-year-old touched one of the women on the breasts.

He grabbed the other victim by the body, put his arm around her and then licked her on the neck.

MacDonald pleaded guilty to two sexual assault charges when he appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 14.

Despite the conviction, he was then a sub four days later as Accies sealed a return to the Scottish Championship with a win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

MacDonald, of East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, was back in the dock on Monday to be sentenced.

He was put on the sex offenders list for a period of six months.

MacDonald was made the subject of a community payback order – an alternative to custody – which will see him supervised for the same length of time.

Hamilton Accies made no official comment other than to confirm the club was aware of the case.

It comes months after MacDonald was rushed to hospital following a serious head injury.

Medics raced onto the pitch with fans in the stand saying they could hear an ‘audible crack’ just over 15 minutes into the match.
