Tweaks to Scotland’s short-term letting rules ‘insufficient’

1. Tweaks to Scotland’s short-term letting rules are “insufficient” to address business concerns on the impact the policy is having.

Three amendments were passed by the Scottish government this week. Those allow the transfer of a licence to a new host, the application of prospective hosts for a licence before construction is completed and the application of up to three exemptions totalling six weeks every year.
