WWE Invited Several UK Indie Talent To Clash At The Castle: Scotland

WWE recently held two shows in Scotland, including Friday Night SmackDown and the 2024 Clash At The Castle pay-per-view vent, which were well-received by the overseas crowd.

Fightful Select is reporting that WWE extended invitations to several familiar faces from the UK independent wrestling scene to attend both events as extras and guests.

According to the report, at least ten individuals were invited, including Damian Corvin, Rhio (Progress Women’s World Champion), Aaron Echo, Andy Roberts, Shreddy, BT Gunn, RP Davies, Danny Jones, Brady Phillips, and Mulligan. Some of the talent invited were involved in extra work, with RP Davies notably seen on WWE’s social media assisting AJ Styles after his match with Cody Rhodes at Clash At The Castle: Scotland.

Gabe Sapolsky organized and extended the invitations to the talent, and he has previously scouted wrestlers for WWE.

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque referenced the success of former WWE extras during the post-show press conference for Clash At The Castle: Scotland.
