The Olympics are rolling along after the first weekend of competition and the excitement continued Monday with a full day of action.

Team USA piled up plenty of shiny hardware on Day 3 of the Games, but gold medals proved elusive.

The U.S. men’s gymnastics team ended a 16-year medal drought with a thrilling performance in the team event, securing a bronze. The Americans also showed out in men’s skateboarding and in the pool. Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston finished in second and third place, respectively, in men’s street skateboarding. Katie Grimes and Emma Weyant pulled the same feat in the women’s 400m individual medley, winning silver and bronze medals, but Canadian Summer McIntosh stole the show with a standout race.
