Browns rookie Mike Hall Jr. arrested, charged with domestic violence after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was arrested and charged after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun, according to ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi.

Hall was arrested and booked on Tuesday. He has a hearing scheduled for Sept. 10 and bond was set at $10,000.

According to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram, the police report states that Hall’s fiancée’s mother called police and said Hall pushed her daughter and hit her with a baby bottle belonging to the couple’s 11-month-old child.

Hall then allegedly threw her belongings outside and dragged her along the driveway before putting a gun to her head, saying, “I will f***ing end it all.”

The report stated that children were in the house at the time and two handguns, a .40-caliber Glock and a 9mm Smith & Wesson, were also found inside the home.

“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night,” the Browns said in a statement. “Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time.”

Hall was selected 54th overall in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. The 21-year-old played three seasons with the Buckeyes, recording six sacks and 43 tackles in 45 games.
