Florida Panthers debut Stanley Cup inspired center ice logo for upcoming season
The Florida Panthers will have some cool new championship features inside Amerant Bank Arena next season.
The ones that we’ve known about for a couple months now will be hanging above the ice when Opening Night arrives.

Another Stanley Cup-related change that we just learned about won’t be above the ice. It will be on the ice.
Over the past week, staff inside Amerant Bank Arena have been preparing the floor of the venue for hockey.
That process begins by adding a thin layer of ice the ground and then freshly painting on it with bright white paint, and then adding all the lines and faceoff circles.
After the painting is done, more thin layers of ice are added on top.
Inside the big center ice faceoff circle is where every team paints its logo.
The Panthers are going with something a little different this season.
We’ve seen many teams showing off photos of completely filling the circle with their club’s logo, and Florida will be doing the same.
The Panthers are recreating the inside of the bowl of the Stanley Cup, taking the embossed pattern inside the Cup and painting them on the ice to appear as sun rays.
It’s an incredibly unique look that builds on what the Vegas Golden Knights did last season, creating a center ice design inspired by the Cup.

Not long after, the Panthers put out a photo of the logo, confirming that the above photo was authentic.
The team also posted some information on the logo and how it came to be.
Last season the Panthers used the team’s special 30th anniversary logo at center ice, but now they’re going back to the team’s shield logo.
Fans will get the chance to see the new championship center ice logo when Florida opens the preseason with a doubleheader against the Nashville Predators on Sept 22 in Sunrise.
The Panthers will also host a pair of preseason games against Carolina on Sept. 28 and Tampa Bay on Sept. 30.
Opening Night of the 2024-25 regular season against the Boston Bruins is set for Oct. 8.
