The former RPI forward was traded from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for the rights to forward Tristan Ashbrook.

A product of Buffalo, N.Y., Polino suited up for the Cyclones in each of the past three seasons. In 72 regular season games in 2023-24, Polino scored 23 goals and added 35 assists for 58 points.

Having played for RPI from 2016-2020, Polino accumulated 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points in 131 career games.

With the acquisition, the Thunder are getting a top of the lineup player who they can easily slot into their top six. While he hasn’t signed with the team just yet, Polino is a solid addition to the team.
