Canucks Dodging Bullet Against Panthers

The Vancouver Canucks won’t face Matthew Tkachuk or Aleksander Barkov against the Flordia Panthers on Thursday.

Tkachuk is dealing with an illness, and reports suggest he will be out until the Panthers’ game on Oct. 22 against the Minnesota Wild.

The Panthers will also miss their captain, Aleksander Barkov, who has a lower-body injury. Barkov left the Panthers’ opening night game after an awkward fall into the boards during the team’s first game.

The Canucks are still searching for their first win of the season, and they still have to face the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night.
