Sabres Make History In Big Win Over Rangers
The Buffalo Sabres defeated the New York Rangers by a 6-1 final score on Thursday night (Nov. 7). This was an incredibly impressive win by the Sabres, as the Rangers are viewed as legitimate contenders.
The Sabres also made some history in the process.
According to Buffalo Sabres PR, this win against the Rangers was only the second time in franchise history that all 12 Sabres forwards had at least one point in a single contest. The only other time the Sabres did this was on January. 27, 1994, in a 7-2 win against the Washington Capitals.
Tonight’s game marked just the second time in franchise history that all 12 Sabres forwards recorded at least one point in a single game. Buffalo last accomplished the feat on Jan. 17, 1994 in a 7-2 victory over the Washington Capitals.

When noting that the Sabres have been around for over 50 years and have only done this one other time before, this is an amazing accomplishment for the current roster. It should be a real confidence booster, and it will be fascinating to see how they build off this from here.
