Legendary former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson faces YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul in a blockbuster, eight-round professional boxing match live on Netflix.
Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) has defeated a motley array of opposition since kicking off his professional boxing career in 2020, knocking out the NBA’s Nate Robinson, MMA’s Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, and most recently bare-knuckle boxing standout Mike Perry. The 27-year-old former Disney star has also beaten MMA legends Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz on points. His lone loss in the ring came in a 2023 split decision at the hands of Tommy Fury, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Tyson vs. Paul will be contested under modified rules, featuring eight two-minute rounds rather than the usual three-minute rounds in men’s boxing, and with heavier 14-ounce gloves rather than the usual 10-ounce gloves for professional heavyweight bouts. The fight will go on both competitors’ pro records.
In the much-anticipated co-featured bout, Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) rematch their April 2022 thriller with Taylor’s super lightweight titles on the line. Ireland’s Taylor, 38, defeated Puerto Rico’s Serrano, 36, in a divisive split decision (97-93, 96-94, 94-96) in their first meeting, which served as the first women’s boxing bout to headline Madison Square Garden and was widely praised as 2022’s Fight of the Year.
The Tyson vs. Paul start time for the preliminary card is at 5:30 p.m. ET on the Netflix Sports’ and MVP Promotions’ YouTube channels. The main card airs live at 8 p.m. ET, free for Netflix subscribers.

Green beats Watpool by SD
Shadasia Green takes a close split decision (97-93 Green, 96-94 Watpool, 96-94 Green) over Melinda Watpool to win the vacant WBO super middleweight title.
Green vs. Watpool – Round 10
Watpool bringing the fight to Green in the final round, Green doesn’t seem to be fighting with urgency and is just boxing the 10th behind her jab. Watpool was more aggressive but very little of note landed from either. Close round, close fight — the scorecards will be interesting.
10-9 Watpool. Final score: 96-94 Watpool.
Green vs. Watpool – Round 9
Green is missing with big swings, her hands are too slow as we go late into this fight. Watpool is quicker and landing short, sharp shots on Green. Her left hook early in the second minute was the best connect in that round.

Quiet eighth round. Both women are tired, Green is moving and utilizing long-range straight shots. Watpool hasn’t been as aggressive in closing the distance in that round. Could be all tied up.

Right hand, left hook power combo skims Watpool’s face. Watpool throws a couple of three- and four-punch combinations in the second minute. She is outworking Green in the seventh and ends the round with a strong jab that pushes Green back.

Green turns the tables and drives Watpool back. Multiple power punches land flush on Watpool, the best of them was a left hook that moved Watpool and forced her to cover up. Best round of the fight for Green, just when she needed a breakthrough.

It’s not pretty, but it’s effective. Green is struggling when the fight is being fought at mid and close distance. Watpool has Green up against the ropes and pushes the American’s head back with a right hand. A left hook lands for Watpool.

More of the same in Round 4. Green looks tired already, her output has significantly decreased. Watpool is still pressuring Green back with punches and a high guard.

Watpool managing to break the distance in the third, she is making Green uncomfortable with how close she is. Watpool’s work is being smothered but Green isn’t really throwing much while they’re on the inside.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Lucas Bahdi didn’t punish Armando Casamonica in the manner he promised Friday after Casamonica came in 3.5 pounds overweight Thursday.
Bahdi actually appeared lucky to have escaped with a 10-round, majority decision victory over the previously unbeaten Italian on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul undercard at AT&T Stadium. Judge Mike Ross scored their fight a draw, 95-95, but judges David Iacobucci (96-93) and Nate Palmer (98-92) scored Bahdi the winner of a fight that lacked action.
Casamonica (14-1, 3 KOs) has a much lower knockout ratio than Bahdi (18-0, 15 KOs), but the shiftier fighter consistently controlled the pace, pressed the action at times, and never appeared affected by his supposedly dangerous opponent’s punches. Bahdi, who was widely listed as at least an 8-1 favorite, had difficulty tracking down his slippery opponent and couldn’t connect with the type of devastating shot that changed his career almost four months earlier.
In July, a then-unknown Bahdi burst upon the U.S. boxing scene when he knocked out lightweight prospect Ashton Sylve in the sixth round on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry undercard at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Sylve (11-1, 9 KOs), of Long Beach, California, was a highly touted 135-pound prospect that Paul’s company, MVP Promotions, represents. The 20-year-old Sylve was initially scheduled to face another young, highly regarded American lightweight, Floyd Schofield, on the Paul-Tyson undercard.
Once Bahdi beat him, MVP Promotions added Bahdi to its roster.
Green vs. Watpool – Round 2
Green ROCKS Watpool with a right hand early in round two. Watpool’s head snapped back. Watpool is trying to close the distance and push Green back, Green countering with the right hand — which is her ‘money punch’ early.

Green is physically much larger than Watpool. She is ramming a power jab into Watpool and connected with a wide right hand in the first half. Watpool attempts to land a combination while Green is against the ropes, but nothing connects.

USA’s Shadasia Green (14-1, 11 KOs) and Canada’s Melinda Watpool (7-0, 2 KOs) collide for the vacant WBO super middleweight championship in the first of three world title fights tonight.
Green’s only career defeat was a decision loss to Franchon Crews-Dezurn this past December in Orlando.
Bahdi beats Casamonica by MD
Lucas Bahdi edges a majority decision (95-95, 96-93, 98-92) over Armando Casamonica in their lightweight battle of unbeatens.
A very close fight, the 98-92 card in favour of Bahdi will be controversial.

They are going to exchange until the final bell, both men know this fight is razor close. Bahdi has seriously increased his output for the final round and probably edged it to nick a draw on my card.
It was a fight of two halves — Bahdi got the better of the first while Casamonica dominated the second half.

Bahdi vs. Casamonica – Round 9
A right hand lands for Bahdi but is immediately answered by five to six punches from Casamonica. None of Casimonca’s shots landed but it may have left an impression on the judges. Casamonica switches to southpaw and counters with an overhand left. Right hand from Bahdi gets through, Casamonica ends the round with his own right cross.
