Flyers Should Swing Trade For Maple Leafs Forward
The Philadelphia Flyers have been talked about often in the rumor mill early on this season. While multiple of their players have been discussed as trade candidates, they should not be against adding to their roster if it benefits them beyond this season.

Because of this, one player they should consider pursuing is Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson.
Robertson is due for a change of scenery. The 23-year-old forward notably requested a trade last off-season and has had a tough start to the campaign. He has two goals in 20 games, but there is clear reason to believe he can bounce back.
Robertson quietly put up some solid offensive numbers in a minimal role last season with the Maple Leafs. In 56 games, he set new career highs with 14 goals, 13 assists, and 27 points. With this, he showed he can be an impactful middle-six forward at the NHL level.
Robertson was once viewed as the Maple Leafs’ top prospect and is known for his skill. A change of scenery at this juncture may do him justice, and the Flyers should consider taking a shot on the 2019 second-round pick. The potential for him to be an impactful scorer is there, and the Flyers could offer him a better opportunity to hit that next level.
