2026 U.S. Olympic figure skating team to be decided in St. Louis
St. Louis will host the January 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the last event to determine the U.S. Olympic team for the Milan Cortina Games.
The Enterprise Center, the home of the St. Louis Blues, is scheduled to host competition from Jan. 5-11.
Full U.S. Olympic team selection procedures have not been published.
For recent Games, the team has been selected by a committee, which takes into account results in the year leading up to the Olympics.
A nation can qualify up to three spots per figure skating event at the Olympics. Skaters’ results at this March’s World Championships in Boston will determine nations’ Olympic quota spots.
The 2025 Prevagen U.S. Championships will be Jan. 20-26 in Wichita, Kansas. The U.S. team for March’s worlds will be announced after nationals.
St. Louis previously hosted nationals in 2006 at the same venue.
