Matt Rempe Ejected After Nasty Hit On Miro Heiskanen

In his first game back with the New York Rangers, Matt Rempe was ejected.

Rempe received a game misconduct after a late hit on Miro Heiskanen in the third period of the Rangers’ game against the Dallas Stars.

The puck was already off of Heiskanen’s stick, but Rempe came flying in with his elbow directed at the head of Heiskanen.

Prior to the hit, Rempe was having a productive game as he was able to draw three penalties and even had a few offensive chances.

The Rangers called up the 22-year-old forward from the Hartford Wolf Pack of he American Hockey League after trading Kaapo Kakko to the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday night.
