Fantasy Football Week 17 Rankings: Tight ends (Half-PPR)
Few players have been more impressive late in the season than Jonnu Smith. His performances since mid-November (and an argument can be made that his run of production started even earlier than that) have been nothing short of excellent, especially when you consider just how bad the tight end position has been for fantasy football (stop me if you’ve heard that one before).

Shockingly, Smith has often been the second or third read in the Miami passing offense, and his emergence has been detrimental to the fantasy floors of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Nonetheless, if we’re talking positional advantages, Smith has been nothing short of a league winner, especially of late.
He’s gone six straight weeks with either a touchdown or 6+ receptions. When’s the last time we’ve been able to say that about a tight end who, at the start of the season, most folks looked at as a waiver-wire streamer at best?
