BARRATT has strengthened its leadership team in Scotland with three senior appointments.

Barratt Developments Scotland – which includes Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes – has announced that Alison Condie, Andrew Morrison and Lorraine Paterson will transition into more senior roles in the coming months.

Alison Condie, who is the current MD for east Scotland, will assume the position of regional director. Alison joined Barratt in 2005 as a technical director and was subsequently promoted to MD in 2013.

Her role will be filled by Andrew Morrison, operations director for the division. Andrew joined the business in 2018 as operations director from another national housebuilder.

Alison Condie said, “I joined Barratt nearly 20 years ago, and I am delighted with this wider role within the Scottish region. Barratt and David Wilson Homes is a very rewarding place to work and I have been lucky to be part of a great team that are helping to push the homebuilding sector forward. I am really looking forward to this new opportunity and helping to continue growing the region.”

Andrew Morrison added, “It’s been a fantastic journey working with Barratt Developments so far, and I’m delighted to have been promoted to managing director for east Scotland. I’m thankful for the guidance Alison has given me while working beside her over the last six years and I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge and helping to continue growing the division.”

Barratt Developments Scotland is also saying goodbye to Anne Ross, sales director for the east of Scotland division. Anne will retire at the end of September, having spent 22 years with the company.

Lorraine Paterson, who has been a senior sales manager for Barratt Developments West Scotland for the past four years, will replace Anne from October.

Lorraine Paterson said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of sales director for Barratt Homes East Scotland this autumn after spending four years working with the talented team in West Scotland. Anne has done a fantastic job of growing the division over the last 16 years, so it’s no surprise that there’s big boots to fill. I wish her all the best in her retirement and look forward to this new, exciting chapter in my career with Barratt.”
