Billy Gilmour Euro 2024 injury sweat as Scotland star pictured in knee brace

Billy Gilmour has sparked fears over his fitness for Euro 2024 as he was pictured in a knee brace.

The Scotland midfielder has been pivotal to Steve Clarke’s squad this whole qualifying campaign and has 25 caps to his name including at the last Euros. It was confirmed earlier today that the playmaker would not feature for the Seagulls against Liverpool at Anfield due to an injury sustained and then the 22-year-old broke his own silence on social media as he offered support to his teammates ready to head out onto the pitch.




Gilmour, watching from home, took a snap of his telly with the caption: “good luck team” but it was his right leg that took much of the attention.

As he lay down his knee was braced up and it’s not yet known the full extent of the injury. Gilmour’s international captain, Andy Robertson, was also not involved after he picked up a knock against Northern Ireland.

The pair joined Ryan Christie on the injury list as he missed yesterday’s Bournemouth win over Everton.
