Che Adams in ‘advanced’ transfer talks as Scotland striker to leave Southampton

Che Adams is reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ with Wolves as he gets set to leave Southampton.

The Scotland striker’s contract at St Mary’s expires next month and the 27-year-old is free to hold pre-contract talks with other clubs. Adams will be keen to thrash out his future before this summer’s Euros and reports suggest he is close to agreeing terms with Premier League Wolves.

Adams has enjoyed another prolific season for the Saints, scoring 17 goals and the ex-Birmingham City goal machine is highly-rated down south. Fellow Southampton and Scotland teammate Stuart Armstrong could also be on the move this summer as he enters the final few weeks of his deal. It’s understood the former Celtic star, 32, would like to test himself abroad but his full focus will be on returning to fitness in time for the Euros after suffering a season-ending injury.
