Week 4 of the college football season features the start of conference play for many teams and it shouldn’t disappoint based off the slate of games.
Clemson got things started off with a thorough domination of conference rival NC State, going off for 45 points in the first half for an easy win that shows it’s right there in the mix with Miami at the top of the ACC.
The early games also featured some history making. James Madison scored more points in the first half against North Carolina than it ever had before in a wild 70-50 upset (UNC had also never allowed that many points in a half before Saturday). Later, Temple kicker Maddux Trujillo drilled a 64-yard field goal — the longest kick in 16 years and just one yard shy of Martin Gramatica’s record.
Well that’ll just about do it for the Sooners. Michael Hawkins sailed the fourth-down attempt over his receiver’s head and Oklahoma appears to be out of time.
Colorado drives it into Baylor territory but stalls out as Shedeur Sanders is sacked on 4th down.

The Sooners finally find the end zone in the fourth quarter with Michael Hawkins at the helm. The backup QB finds Jovantae Barnes out of the backfield for a touchdown to cut into the Vols’ lead.

It’s not quite a blowout, but the Sooners’ lack of offense is concerning in this one as the Vols are just badgering the home team up front.
