The 2023 Columbus draft pick came to North America this summer and is playing for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL. He is 3-2 with a .910 save % so far this season.

With the commitment to MSU, Columbus fans should have 3 to 4 years to watch young Strahl play, as Ohio State and Michigan State usually play a two-game series home and away each year.

CBJ draft pick William Whitelaw is also playing in the Big Ten for Michigan. The Jackets have six players who are playing college hockey this year.

What’s Next – Columbus is back home on Tuesday and will host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
