Detroit Red Wings Sign Ondrej Becher To Entry-Level Deal, Assign To Grand Rapids
The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward Ondrej Becher to a three-year entry-level deal and assigned him to Grand Rapids, it was announced Tuesday.
Becher, a 2024 third round pick of the Red Wings, has spent the whole season with the Griffins, putting up one goal and four points in 20 games.
Before making the jump to the pro game in 2024-25, Becher spent the past two seasons playing in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars. Over 121 career regular season games, he scored 48 goals and added 86 assists for 134 points.
Although Becher’s point totals don’t pop off the page, it is to be expected in his adjustment to the pro game. He is clearly valued by Red Wings management and should factor into Detroit’s lineup over the next couple of years.
