Five things to do in Scotland this week — from Buffy Revamped to Pretty Woman

It might surprise you to learn that Buffy Revamped was officially the best-reviewed comedy show at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The writer and performer Brendan Murphy has somehow condensed all 144 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer into 70 minutes.

Everything’s told from the point of view of Spike, Buffy’s peroxide vampiric love interest, but Murphy also deploys his comic acting chops to inhabit Buffy, Xander, Willow, Cordelia and the other key characters from Sunnydale High too.
