Idyllic Scottish Island hunting for Edinburgh locals to relocate for salaries of up to £128K

A picturesque Scottish Island is currently on the hunt for Edinburgh residents and those elsewhere in Scotland to relocate for work with salaries of up to £128,000.

NHS Scotland are searching for a number of people that could take up a range of different gigs on the Isle of Lewis.

Boasting incredible idyllic landscapes with a number of homely villages, the career switch could be ideal for anyone looking to get out of the bustling capital to achieve a more balanced life, the Daily Record reports.

The main settlement on Lewis is Stornoway, where many of the jobs advertised by NHS Scotland are based. The biggest town in the Outer Hebrides, Stornoway features an abundance of independent shops and restaurants that serve up freshly caught fish.

The highest-paying of the positions advertised on employment site HiJOBS is a Locum Consultant in Paediatrics, with a starting salary of between £96,963 and £128,841. Based in Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, the role “offers a unique opportunity to combine modern and progressive clinical practice with a lifestyle that is difficult to match”.
