Kilgour sets out five-year plan to double revenue at Renaissance Care Group

1. Entrepreneur Robert Kilgour has outlined plans to more than double turnover at his Renaissance Care Group.

Kilgour’s five-year plan involves making a number of acquisitions across Scotland which he believes will see the business grow from £46 million in annual revenue to £100 million by 2029.

That will also mean the number of care homes it runs increasing from 17 to more than 30 over the period.

Previously Kilgour founded Four Seasons Health Care and then started Renaissance in 2004 with two homes, 90 staff and £2 million turnover.

It now employs approximately 1,300 people looking after 800 residents across 17 care homes.
