Laura Anderson replaces Tallia Storm on Capital Breakfast with Fat Brestovci
Scots star Laura Anderson will join the Capital Scotland breakfast show as Tallia Storm leaves the much-loved station.
Having signed up for her first radio presenting gig, Laura joins broadcaster Fat Brestovci to wake up Scotland every morning from Monday, April 8.
Laura – considered one of Love Island’s most popular contestants – boasts a whopping 1.5 million followers on Instagram and has had a number of entertainment roles since leaving the villa.
The Scots beauty and her bubbly personality look likely to fit in like a glove at Capital.
Laura said: “This is a real dream come true! I’m thrilled to be joining Fat every weekday morning. I’m no stranger to early mornings thanks to my daughter so I’m excited to now be waking up Scotland!”
Capital Scotland is owned and operated under a brand licence by Communicorp UK.
Mark Lee, Communicorp UK’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Laura’s enthusiasm will wake up the nation on Scotland’s Number 1 Hit Music Station and along with Fat, will make sure the audience is very much entertained. Laura and Fat are a great combination, full of energy and we can’t wait for them to get started!”
It comes as Tallia revealed she is leaving the station to concentrate on some upcoming, exciting work in London.
She has been on the airwaves from 6am to 10am on weekday mornings alongside co-star Fat Brestovci for the past year.
