Lawyer claims Baby Reindeer’s real-life Martha is house hunting in Scotland

A Scots lawyer has spoken of her fears that Baby Reindeer’s real-life Martha is moving back to Scotland to be close to her.

Laura Wray, 62, admitted she has discovered the London-based law graduate Fiona Harvey, 58, on whom Richard Gadd’s TV stalker is based, is house hunting in Buchlyvie, Stirlingshire.

Wray previously told the Record she did not want to draw Harvey’s attention because of the nightmare she suffered after she gave the Scots law graduate a trial run at her law firm in 2002.

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored tonight, Wray said: “I’m a reasonably robust person. I’m an advocate. I appear in court all the time, so I’m not easily prone to tears. But this has got me very, very anxious and upset, and particularly since a few weeks ago.

“I thought she was down in London, but a few weeks ago we were told that in the little village era is called Buchlyvie, which is where she’s from originally.

“She’s now been looking to buy a house, we’ve been told… So I’m extremely concerned that this woman not only is abusing me on the internet, on her Facebook pages and on every opportunity she can defeat me but she might also be moving close to where I live. I’m extremely concerned that this woman may be moving close to where I live.”

Asked if she felt threatened by the idea of Harvey being close to her, Wray said: “I always felt threatened. I just never knew what she was capable of.

I was horrified. She just went completely crazy and started screaming at me, very similar to the scene in episode one of Richard Gadd’s show.
