Liam Gallagher fans erupt into Scotland chant as icon takes swipe at Euros team

LIAM Gallagher was forced to Roll With It last night – after he was drowned out by a sea of football fans.

The Oasis legend’s Definitely Maybe tour stopped off in Glasgow on the same evening Scotland took on Switzerland in the Euros.

Steve Clarke’s men drew with Switzerland to keep their Euros hopes alive.

And back in Glasgow fans were in the party spirit.

Liam, 51, praised the crowd for missing the historic game to attend his concert.

The Manchester rocker hailed his Scottish fans as “nice people” and joked if England were playing he might be sitting at home watching the match.

Moments later thousands of revellers at the city‘s OVO Hydro burst into an iconic chant associated with the national team.

The lively audience repeatedly belted out “No Scotland, no party.”

An onlooker said: “Liam looked like he was absolutely loving the Scottish crowd.”

“He’s a big football fan himself and he’d probably be doing the same if it was England who was playing.

“He’s a real showman and hailed fans for choosing to see him perform rather than watch their team.

“The atmosphere was incredible, I had goosebumps when thousands of fans erupted into song.”

Shortly after the Roll With It hitmaker took a hilarious swipe at a major European team.

He said: “Hungary man, Hungary are shit, aren’t they?

“Got to be sacking Hungary, right? Then you’re in, aren’t ya.”

After the pause in last night’s gig, Liam reclaimed the helm and continued the show by singing 1994 hit Cigarettes & Alcohol.

The singer’s Definitely Maybe tour continues in Glasgow this evening before taking to the stage at the city’s TRNSMT festival next month.
