Steve Clarke’s side will have the eyes of the word on them at 8pm this evening when they kick off the tourney against the hosts in Munich’s iconic Allianz Arena.

The TV queen shared a series of pictures and videos with her 550,000 followers as she soaked up the atmosphere.

In one snap, she can be seen surrounded by Tartan Army footsoldiers donning kilts and waving flags.

In another, she poses for selfies as she thanked fans for being “so lovely”.

She wrote: “What a great morning with these Scotland fans – heading to game tonight.

“Nervous, excited and quietly optimistic.”

And video footage shows Lorraine singing, dancing and joking with supporters as she rocks a blue tartan dress.

She gushed: “What a great atmosphere – the Tartan Army are the best fans in the world! They’ve taken over Munich.”

Fans flocked to the comments to react to the joyful scenes.

One wrote: “Lorraine, an icon. Here we go Scotland.”

Another said: “Go on girl.”

A third added: “Bloody brilliant”.

A host of other famous faces are backing Scotland to upset the odds against the hosts.

First Minister John Swinney was pictured in a kilt and Scotland shirt as he enjoyed a pint with heroic Craig Ferguson.

It comes days after the 20-year-old was given a rapturous applause as he completed his astonishing walk from Scotland to Munich.

Meanwhile, former First Minister Alex Salmond was seen posing for pictures with kilt-clad supporters arriving in the host city.

He told The Scottish Sun: “I’m enormously looking forward to it. It’ll be a great game.

“It’ll be 2-1 to Scotland, is my prediction.

“I was quite surprised at the support for Alba in Munich. It’s strong here.”

Meanwhile, Wet Wet Wet legend Graeme Clarke was spotted partying with fans in Munich.

The 59-year-old, from Clydebank, flew in with pals and managed to pull a few strings to land a previous seat in the Allianz Arena.

He said: “I got here yesterday and met my brother and a couple of buddies.

“I’ve got a friend in Germany who fortunately has sourced some tickets for me so I’m going to the game.

“It’s a big event and it’s Wunderbar! When are we ever going to open a tournament like this again?

“It’s fantastic and for me it’s not really about the result. Obviously it would be great to win but it’s the fact we are here and we are going to watch a football game with Scotland.”

Although she’ll no doubt be supporting the Auld Enemy in Germany, presenter Laura Woods was also spotted mingling with the Tartan Army in Munich.

The presenter beamed with joy and smiled as she danced alongside the boisterous Scotland fans.

One gleeful punter could be seen clutching a bottle of Buckfast as he posed next to the telly star.

Supporters have packed out bars in the famous Marienplatz square and they’ve even drank the bars dry.

One German TV presenter was left blushing after a supporter lifted up his kilt live on air.

A group of fans, who can be seen planting a sticker on the head of the presenter, are jumping up and down and cheering during the segement.

The camera then pans to one supporter who was bizarrely wearing a Germany shirt with his kilt.

And, unfortunately for German TV viewers, a fellow fan decides to lift up his kilt to reveal his manhood underneath.

The camera quickly zooms back to the reporter as he covers his eyes from the fans with his hands, visibly embarrassed.
