Mets at Dodgers: How to watch Game 2 of NLCS on Oct. 14, 2024

The Mets face the Dodgers in Game 2 of the NLCS in Los Angeles on Monday at 4:08 p.m. on FOX and FS1.

Here’s what to know about the game and how to watch…

Mets Notes

  • The last two times the Mets lost Game 1 of the NLCS, they bounced back later in the series. New York lost Game 1 to the Braves in 1999 (and Game 2 and Game 3) before winning the next two games to force Game 6 in Atlanta, which they lost in extra innings. New York lost Game 1 to the Astros in 1986 before winning Game 2 and Game 3. They won the series in Game 6 in Houston

  • Francisco Lindor has reached base safely in all eight of the Mets’ playoff games, with seven hits and seven walks

  • Reed Garrett has been terrific in four postseason appearances, firing 5.0 innings of scoreless ball over four appearances while allowing just two hits, walking one, and striking out six

  • Brandon Nimmo is dealing with plantar fasciitis, but plans to remain in the lineup

  • Sean Manaea was fantastic his last time out, limiting the Phillies to one run on three hits while walking two and striking out six in 7.0 innings of work during Game 3 of the NLDS
